Bath PR agency to manage PR, social media & events for hit preschool TV show

Summary
Zodiak Kids has appointed Highlight PR to manage PR, social media and events for the hit preschool TV show Tickety Toc.

Zodiak Kids has appointed Bath-based Highlight PR to manage PR, social media and events to support the July consumer product roll-out of its hit preschool TV show, Tickety Toc.

Tickety Toc is a slapstick animated series which first aired in the UK on Nick Jr in April 2012 and on Channel 5’s Milkshake! from November 2012.

The series follows the madcap adventures of twins Tommy and Tallulah, and their remarkable friends, as they race against time to keep the Tickety Toc Clock ticking and to perform their hourly duty of ‘chiming in the time’.

Highlight’s role will be to raise broader awareness of the series and its key characters, as well as supporting the consumer launch with product placement, social media, brand engagement and retail events.  Set to hit stores from July, the new licensed range comprises toys, publishing, DVD and apparel, with additional lines in the pipeline for 2014.

Alison Vellacott, director of Highlight PR, comments:

“Tickety Toc is a brilliant show which appeals equally to girls and boys.  Full of energy and laughs, the series also promotes values of teamwork, social responsibility and problem solving in fun, engaging ways.  We’re relishing working with Zodiak Kids and their partners to maximise every PR opportunity around this fast-moving licensing programme.”

Nicola Herrmann, Head of Brand Marketing, Zodiak Rights London said:

“With solid experience in delivering engaging communication plans, a clear understanding of our objectives and such an enthusiasm for the brand, we’re delighted to have appointed Highlight PR as our retained agency on Tickety Toc.”

Highlight was appointed by Zodiak Kids following a three-way competitive pitch.
