Dublin experiential agency Imagine joins global group

Imagine announces evolution of offering, today becoming part of the global BEcause Experiential Marketing network

Experiential marketing agency Imagine has today (17 October 2016) become part of the global experiential marketing network BEcause.

The new partnership will see Imagine rebranded as BEcause Ireland from today.

Founded in 2005, Imagine is run by brothers Jonny and Paddy Davis. The agency currently works with a wide range of technology, automotive and FMCG clients on a mix of experiential, corporate event and shopper marketing campaigns. Their experience includes the likes of Renault, Dropbox, Deliveroo, Glanbia and NIVEA.

With a track record spanning 20 years, BEcause has worked with 15 of the world’s top 100 global brands to deliver award-winning work spanning all areas of brand experience. The two agencies will combine their strengths, bringing together Imagine’s experienced local team and skillset in Ireland with BEcause’s established practices and global network.

The move into Ireland strengthens BEcause’s position as a global brand experience agency. It also marks an evolution for the team in Dublin, which plans to double its headcount and achieve an annual turnover of €5m by 2019.

The new partnership will allow the agency to bring a range of new product offerings to the Irish market including the new Virtual Reality (VR) technology, capitialising on BEcause’s success using VR to deliver high-profile campaigns for brands including Continental Tyres and WWF-UK.

“This is an evolution for us as an agency; we have big ambitions, and this is the move we need to make to grow our client offering even further,” commented Jonny Davis, managing director at Imagine.

The announcement follows on from a call for like-minded partners to join the group, issued by BEcause’s founder and CEO Sharon Richey earlier this year.

BEcause’s client list includes the likes of Heineken, General Mills, British Gas and the UK Government. As part of the new partnership, Sharon Richey will join the Board of BEcause Ireland, while Jonny Davis will become part of BEcause’s Board in the UK.
